So far, each release of Microsoft Flight Simulator, along with the inevitable graphical improvement, introduces innovations that will allow players to explore the world in more detail and various scenarios that will make their flight adventures long to be remembered.
The development team Asobo announced that the environment of their upcoming game Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will be done in 3D for the first time.
Microsoft's Flight Simulator brought us "the whole world", but there is still room for improvements that the studio Asobo plans to include in the upcoming game Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
The studio boasted about some new features in the technical and presentation side of the game, and what they promise sounds very tempting.
They say that the world will have 30 different biomes, and for the first time in the series, a full 3D environment will be used instead of ground textures when we are high in the air.
This includes procedurally generated vegetation in 3D, especially interesting as nature will be somewhat explorable on the ground.
The developers state that they have included in the game all the oil platforms that exist in the world, as well as all the registered helipads in the world. The game should have dynamic seasons and weather conditions and a whole range of other authenticity important to a flight simulation.
And they also say that loading will be a bit faster than in the previous game. Whether there is any truth in that, we will see on 11/19 of this year, when Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 takes off on PC and Xbox Series platforms.
