Microsoft have officially announced the release date for Flight Simulator 2020. The game is coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC and consoles on August 18, 2020, and it's available for pre-order right now.
Xbox Game Studios and Asobo Studio have officially announced that Microsoft Flight Simulator launches on August 18, and you can pre-order on Windows 10 or pre-install with Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta) from today, July 13, 2020.
Some of the major features that the team are proud of include extremely detailed landscapes and aircraft, dynamic weather and brand new day and night engine among other things.
As for the editions, the game has three versions - Standard, Deluxe and Premium Deluxe Edition. Here is the breakdown:
- The Standard one is available for $59.99 USD and includes 20 highly detailed planes with unique flight models and 30 hand-crafted airports.
- The Deluxe Edition ($89.99 USD) includes everything from Microsoft Flight Simulator’s standard edition plus 5 additional planes with unique flight models and 5 additional handcrafted international airports.
- The Premium Deluxe Edition ($119.99 USD) includes everything from Microsoft Flight Simulator Standard Edition plus 10 additional highly accurate planes with unique flight models and 10 additional handcrafted international airports.
Additionally, Flight Simulator will be available as a retail disc version. You can find more details about that here.
