Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 was one of the big announcements at the recent Xbox Games Showcase that didn't quite get the people talking, probably since we've seen plenty of other long-awaited titles and Flight Simulator is on the market for a couple of years now.
However, the update for Flight Simulator that Asobo Studio and Xbox will be releasing in 2024 is nothing short of impressive with a ton of new features, and improvements to the gameplay and visuals. In a recent presentation, Asobo and Microsoft talked in detail about all these new features, and how they've managed them possible on PC and consoles.

Flight Simulator 2024 new content and features
Here's a breakdown of some of the content and new features that will be coming to Flight Simulator 2024:
- 16 Pilot Lifestyle features including aerial firefighting, scientific research, crop dusting and much more
- Full seasonal changes including Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter
- Improved world detail, trees, snow, tesselation and more
- Tornadoes, supercells and improved storms
- New physics system for a more realistic handling
- Reduced loading, download and installation times
- The game will only load data that you need at that moment

Flight Simulator 2024 does not have a specific release date at this very moment but as you can tell from the game's title, it's coming out sometime next year.
