It looks like the massive Dark Souls 3 mod called Dark Souls Archthrones is nearing its release after more than three years of development.
The team behind this mod have just released a new trailer to once again showcase their incredible work on the new areas, bosses and NPCs but also to announce big news - Dark Souls Archthrones is getting a demo on Friday, March 15, 2024.
The development team did not share additional details on the demo but it's safe to assume that the download should be available via Nexus Mods website. This will be the first demo ever for the mod, allowing players to experience the new content that the team only teased so far.
We really have to say that the work on this mode is nothing but astonishing. Based on the trailers and screenshots, it's like a whole new game and we cannot wait to dive into it as soon as the demo is live.
The authors of the mod say that Archthrones is an overhaul for Dark Souls 3 on a scale that has never been seen before. The mod will introduce a new alternate story that unfolds across a total of five unique worlds which players can access from the new hub area named the Nexus of Embers.
Each world will bring new bosses, enemy types, allies and more. The team behind the mod have been sharing raw gameplay on their YouTube channel for a while now and we wholeheartedly recommend you check it out, if this mod is of interest to you.
