It was Miller Ross who broke the news , stating that plans are already in motion to cease development while the official announcement may be coming as early as next week.
Some of the worst issues that plague the game to this day, like artificial time gating and cosmetic microtransactions, will be dealt with in some manner. Still, the plan is to keep the game up for sale until September 2023 which may sound pretty bad.

Patrol Mode and a face-off with Ultron were some of the planned content that will never see a release though, just like She-Hulk and Captain Marvel.
