Marvel's Avengers Deluxe Edition releases on 31 August 2020, according to the latest leak on Xbox Store. This means that it launches five days earlier than the Standard Edition.
It looks like Marvel's Avengers will come in a couple of different editions with special bonuses. The game's Deluxe Edition was leaked on the Xbox Store and judging by the official description, the pricey version of the superhero action-adventure may come with five days early access.
As you can see in the leaked image below, Marvel's Avengers Deluxe Edition release date is set for 31 August 2020, which is five days earlier than the officially announced release date. It is safe to assume that the Standard Version of the game will stick to the "standard" launch date while those who decide to spend extra money on the Deluxe Edition will get to save the world a bit earlier. Other than the release date, the leaked screenshot does not reveal any new information.
Of course, early access in special editions is nothing new. EA, for example, use this practice with their big titles, but players are not really fond of it to be fair. Also, it would not be the first time that Square Enix offer their title earlier to those who pay more.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider was available two days earlier for those who decided to pre-order the Digital Deluxe Edition ($69.99) or the Croft Edition ($89.99) of the game.
Square Enix are yet to officially reveal the Deluxe Edition of Marvel's Avengers so take this leak with a grain of salt.
Marvel's Avengers is officially hitting the shelves on 04 September 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia.
