Playdead, the studio who brought us spooky platformers Inside and Limbo are currently working on their brand new game, which is built on Unreal Engine and will be a third-person open-world game, published by Epic Games.

We have to thank Playdead studio for some of the most unique platformers that we have ever played and to say that we are happy with the latest news about their new game, would be an understatement. Many fans of Inside and Limbo will also be eager to hear what is next for Playdead and today, we have first details about the studio's brand new project.

According to  a job listing found online , Playdead's new game will be built on Unreal Engine. It's an open-world, third-person adventure with science fiction elements set in a remote corner of the universe. Sounds pretty mysterious so far, right?

Additionally, the job listing reveals that the game could be an Epic Games Store exclusive. Epic Games are listed as the publisher, which usually means that the game will be available on PC only via Epic Games Store.

The job listing does not reveal any other details about the game, which suggests it's still early in development.

However, we have two concept art pieces which reveal the theme and art style of the game. It's safe to say that Playdead will stick to their black and white style once again, but we don't mind, it's one of the things that makes their games so unique, after all.

Thanks, DSOG.
