Lies of P is getting more content and it's officially becoming a franchise. Neowiz today announced some very exciting news which include the first look at the upcoming DLC but also a confirmation that a full-fledged sequel is in the works.
During the recent Director's Letter stream, Lies of P Director Ji Won Choi once again thanked over million players who purchased the game. He stated that Lies of P has generated "significant buzz" since it launched so the team is working on various content that will be coming in the near future.
Ji Won Choi did not reveal much about the DLC but we did get some concept art which gives us an idea of what to expect from the expansion in terms of locations and art style.
The concept art which you can see in the images, seems to hint that P will travel to some distant land on a ship. We can see what appears to be the northern lights in the background and ice-covered environments can be spotted on the second image which features a giant turbine-like object.
We can only speculate at this point, as the devs didn't reveal any other details but this new concept art made us really excited for the expansion. At the moment, there is no release date for Lies of P DLC but if we had to guess, we'd say it's coming sometime in the second part of 2024.
