It looks like the next Assassin's Creed game will not be named Ragnarok after all. Instead, Ubisoft apparently opted for Valhalla according to the latest achievements list, which also reveals that the game will feature co-op mode.
The next Assassin's Creed is all about Vikings as some reliable sources confirmed. However, it will not be named Ragnarok as some earlier rumours suggested. Instead, Ubisoft opted for Valhalla according to the latest leak.
The leak reveals the full list of achievements for Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Apparently, it is a test profile for the game that was quickly removed but as you may know, what happens on the internet, stays on the internet.
Thanks to a 4chan user, who managed to grab a screenshot before the list was removed, we have a ton of new details about the next Assassin's Creed game. Of course, you should take these with a grain of salt since the info comes from 4chan but we have to say that the list looks pretty legit.
Anyway, one of the achievements mentions co-op, which correlates with some earlier rumours that also suggested a co-op mode. The achievement is named Perfect Synchronisation and its description is as follows: Have all 4 co-op players be a different character.
If the list is indeed true, this basically confirms that you will be able to play Assassin's Creed: Valhalla with up to three friends. Of course, many will not like this direction since Assassin's Creed is traditionally a story-rich singleplayer game, but if it's optional and won't affect singleplayer gameplay, then why not.
You can check the full list of achievements here . Keep in mind, it's jam-packed with spoilers, obviously.
