True Damage may be making its long awaited return to League of Legends. The reveal of new True Damage skins is reportedly in the works for Season 3 Act 2, Riot Games’ latest leak reveals. This would introduce the superstar roster to players once again nearly seven years after their initial introduction to the game back in 2019.
Season 3 Act 2 is already known to be music-themed, so Riot developing new skins for League’s virtual musicians lines up. Several of League’s musical groups could receive updates soon.
LeagueOfLeaks expects Riot to reintroduce True Damage with another group of skins sometime during Season 3 Act 2. True Damage was first revealed at Worlds 2019 along with its debut single GIANTS. Akali, Ekko, Qiyana, Senna and Yasuo comprised the original roster, all of which got True Damage skins.
True Damage has been relatively quiet since then Worlds, making their return all the more exciting for fans.
More League of Legends Music Content to Return?
Riot Games gave slight teases to several League music groups recently, which included K/DA, HEARTSTEEL, Pentakill, and True Damage. Many saw this as confirmation that True Damage would be returning soon.
But Riot may be planning something bigger, as there are also rumours surrounding new HEARTSTEEL skins along with new K/DA content. No word on who is getting skins, what tier, how much, or when exactly they’re coming.
These details have yet to be confirmed on whether they are true. Nor do we know if the five champions will return as a group, or if Riot will be adding new True Damage champions to the mix. We’ll just have to wait and see.
