Rek’Sai has been in a miserable place for a while in League of Legends. Following nerfs to her Q and W in Patch 14.12, she’s occupied subpar status for jungle pick rate and performance. Currently sitting at a lowly 1.19% pick rate in the jungle, she has one of the worst pick rates out of any jungler, and it’s obvious that something needs to be done.
League of Legends Patch 25.15 sees Riot Games giving her a mini-rework to get her back into the meta. After Kled in the last major patch 25.14 received a full rework, she is now the next champion to receive a small scale, but significant, rework. The overall focus for this rework is to buff her burst damage and response-ability, as well as to allow her to have more assassination potential.
This is done notably by her E - Furious Bite getting its true damage back at max Fury. In addition to this, her R - Void Rush has been reworked to scale off missing health instead of max health, rewarding good skill expression and giving her more power as a jungle predator.

Rek’Sai Rework Release Date
Rek’Sai’s ongoing mini-rework is now live on the PBE and will be going live with Patch 25.15 on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. With the changes, Riot is attempting to reinvigorate an old and stale jungler and make her a more solid pick at all levels of play.
It will be interesting to see if this is enough to finally bring her back into pro play.
