Are you ready for a League of Legends shake-up? With Patch 25.15 on the horizon, Riot Games is determined to mix up the LoL meta.
Scheduled for July 30th, 2025, this patch is taking a new approach after months of champion buffs. Also, the new Spirit Blossom Springs skins are coming with LoL Patch 25.15.
Riot will be balancing the meta by taking some of the most-played champions off the meta’s shoulders. While it’s always a nerf-heavy approach, this patch will focus specifically on:
- Supports: Alistar, Rell, and Braum
- Carries and Fighters: Master Yi, Bel’Veth, Nilah, Pantheon, Quinn, Irelia
The objective here is to bring down their performance and allow for more champion diversity in ranked and pro play.
Buff & Nerf Updates In League Of Legends Patch 25.15
Patch 25.15 will be a nerf-heavy patch, as Riot is once again taking aim at over-performing champions. We’re likely to see specific champions targeted by the current meta after several buff-heavy updates.
Below are the champions on Riot’s radar that we will see nerfed this patch.
- Supports: Alistar, Rell, Braum
- Carries and Fighters: Master Yi, Bel’Veth, Nilah, Pantheon, Quinn, Irelia
Champion Buffs & Adjustments in Patch 25.15
Although the majority of champion changes will be nerfs, Riot is also buffing a handful of champs to change up their playstyle:
- Kled – This change is in response to recent winrate decreases after Kled’s mini rework
- Riven – Riot will be buffing Riven to balance out a recent string of nerfs that have decreased her damage
Adjustments will be made to:
- Corki, specifically in laning
- Illaoi, mostly to her E
- Rek’Sai, returning True Damage on E and buffing her R

Kled
Skaarl the Cowardly Lizard (Passive)
- While dismounted, Kled now gains 4 bonus armor and magic resist, increased by 20% per nearby enemy, up to a max of 8.
Riven
Passive – Runic Blade
- AD ratio increased from 30–50% (based on level) ➜ 30–55%
Q – Broken Wings
- Bugfix: Third cast no longer knocks back Siege minions and champions more than intended.

- Base armor: 47 ➜ 40

Passive – Death in Lavender
- Bonus attack speed per stack: 0.28–1% ➜ 0.28–1.1%, scaling now includes level 18
Q – Void Surge
- Base damage: 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 ➜ 0 / 5 / 10 / 15 / 20
- Bonus monster damage: 45 / 55 / 65 / 75 / 85 ➜ 55 / 65 / 75 / 85 / 95
Braum
- Base armor: 42 ➜ 35
- Armor growth: 5.2 ➜ 5
Irelia
- Base HP regen: 6 ➜ 3.5
Master Yi
Q – Alpha Strike

- Tentacle slam cooldown: 5 / 4 / 3 ➜ 4 / 3.5 / 3 (based on level)
- Removed: 1.1s lockout before Tentacle slam triggers
Rek’Sai

- Health ratio: 25 / 30 / 35% missing HP ➜ 15 / 20 / 25% max HP
- Cooldown: 100 / 90 / 80s ➜ 120 / 100 / 80s
- Fail cooldown: 10s ➜ 5s
No System Changes Announced Yet
As of the time of writing, there have been no changes announced to any of League of Legends’ major systems. Riot might make an addition to this part of the post closer to the patch’s release date.
Spirit Blossom Springs Skins Arrive
One of the most anticipated skins of all time has finally been announced for this patch, Spirit Blossom Springs.

Inspired by onsens, this is some of the most relaxing and artful skins Riot has released in years.

Patch 25.15 will release on Wednesday, July 30th, 2025, with maintenance beginning at:
- NA: 3:00 AM PT
- EUW: 5:00 AM UK time
- EUNE: 3:00 AM CET
