Solo queue has taken a bit of a turn in League of Legends 25.14. The Riot's nerfs to Sett, Riven, Kassadin, Yasuo, and Twisted Fate along with several others have really opened up new opportunities for a lot of different champions in all five roles.
Whether you need to bully lane and be a roaming killer, or just a straight up teamfight hard-carry, there is a very good list of picks in this meta to help you climb solo. The most successful champions at the moment are those who either have early skirmish power, or hyper scale.
A lot of the off-meta picks on this list have seen a rise in winrate as a result of many indirect item or rune changes that have powered them up-most notably all of the Blade of the Ruined King buffs have made AD Katarina and Vayne even more oppressive in the meta, as well as enchanters like Milio and Nami having huge impact paired with strong on-hit ADCs.
Top Lane
- Quinn: A lane bully who roams and snowballs fast.
- Mordekaiser: Thrives in side lanes and punishes 1v2s.
- Kayle: A low-interaction scaler who dominates by 25 minutes.
Jungle
- Trundle: A low-mech duelist with excellent objective control.
- Volibear: Underrated bruiser with strong mid-game.
- Jarvan IV: Deadly engage into squishier comps.
Mid Lane
- Hwei: Top-tier wave control and poke damage.
- Katarina: Flexible between AP and AD builds.
- Diana: Punishing assassin with great durability.
ADC
- Sivir: Reliable waveclear and teamfight presence.
- Vayne: Strong duelist with multiple viable builds.
- Kog'Maw: Massive DPS if protected by enchanters.
Support
- Milio: Enchanter king with healing, knockbacks, and cleanse.
- Bard: High roaming impact and surprising damage.
- Nami: Buff-heavy support with game-changing CC.
With plenty of viable solo carry options in every role, Patch 25.14 rewards mechanical skill, matchup knowledge, and strategic playmaking.
