Riot Games update League of Legends with balance changes, bugfixes and more every two weeks, with their regularly scheduled patches. When some champions are OP though, others tend to fly under the radar.
It was the case with Diana taking up the spotlight, and forcing Riot to nerf her while Rek'Sai has been dominating the game at the same time as well, with no nerfs in sight.
Rek'Sai is a strong early-game jungle champion, and in the hands of a skilled player can easily carry games, with a good snowball. However, her recent itemization has been causing problems.
In essence, it's the usual issue of an assassin building bruiser items, and relying on their base stats and the overall strength of bruiser items to have enough damage to one-shot squishes, while not having to worry about getting one-shotted in return.
This allows even less skilled players to abuse Rek'Sai in ranked SoloQ, and thus boost her win rate to 53 percent, even in Master+. What we ask is, will Riot do something about it?
After all, they don't seem to have even acknowledged it, much the same way they are not reacting to Sejuani dominating both the jungle and the top lane.
