League of Legends Patch 25.11 introduces significant updates from Riot Games which delivers balance changes and champion adjustments while implementing new polish to the game experience.
The patch does not introduce new skins but contains multiple significant changes including a complete gameplay redesign for Garen and stat boosts for favored champions Diana, Sivir and Rengar.
The update reduces power levels with multiple nerfs that include reversing recent overpowered buffs. The developers have decided to scale down Smolder and Cho’Gath while making adjustments to Lucian and Elise’s gameplay.

The release of League of Legends Patch 25.11 will take place on May 28, 2025 and regional maintenance will occur at the specified times.

Champion Buffs – Diana, Sivir and More
This patch includes buffs for multiple champions who play across various roles. The full list includes:

The new changes enhance these champions to perform better in solo queue matches and professional settings.
Champion Nerfs – Smolder, Cho’Gath Adjusted
Smolder and Cho’Gath receive power level adjustments following their exceptional performance in past patches.
Both Lucian and Elise will receive adjustments to help maintain balanced pick and win rates.
Major Champion Adjustments – Aatrox and Garen
Aatrox
- Aatrox's passive now causes reduced max health damage while providing an uncancellable empowered auto-attack.
- Q – The Darkin Blade now deals more sweetspot damage in every cast while AD scaling has been enhanced.
- E – Infernal Chains now inflicts physical damage instead of magical damage.
Garen
- W – Courage now features revised damage reduction scaling and cooldown periods while removing bonus resistances when stacks are full.
- The AD scaling and critical damage of Judgment received revisions while several mechanics were removed to maintain consistency.
- The base damage for Demacian Justice receives a slight reduction as players reach higher ranks.
System Changes – Horizon Focus Buffed
The patch makes minimal system updates but provides Horizon Focus with significant enhancements to boost its appeal to mage builds.
Updated Skins – Masque of the Black Rose
Riot released visual and thematic alterations for the Masque of the Black Rose skin line in Patch 25.11 though it did not introduce any new skins. The champions receiving these updates include:
