Patch 25.06 features a visual redesign for the Nexus alongside Turrets and Inhibitors which takes inspiration from the Noxian Black Rose organization. Riot deployed the Seasonal Themes system in Season 15 to split the year into three distinct seasonal themes that affect champions, skins, battle passes and map designs.
The first League of Legends Season of 2025 will take inspiration from Noxus leading to Riot's introduction of new Noxian-themed skins and battle passes along with a map update.
The Noxian map initially displayed an excessive red hue that Riot adjusted in a later update but players responded positively to the map overall. Riot continues its development work by introducing yet another major map update.
League of Legends Map visual update
The map update launching on March 19, 2025 in Patch 25.06 will present redesigned Nexus, Turrets and Inhibitors that seamlessly integrate Noxian aesthetic features. Here’s a closer look:
Red Nexus update
The design of the new Nexus model takes its inspiration from LeBlanc’s Black Rose organization by incorporating a rose-like structure with thorny elements extending outward.
Blue Nexus update
The blue-side Nexus continues to showcase its mystical appearance while integrating dark magic elements that match the Black Rose theme.
Turrets and Inhibitors
Turrets have experienced significant changes that turned them into magical towers instead of their classic cannon-like structures. The battlefield experience becomes more immersive as inhibitors receive a new sleek design.
LeBlanc VGU also arrived
Riot revealed LeBlanc’s eagerly awaited VGU will transition to PBE shortly and should launch with Patch 25.06.
Summoner’s Rift receives significant visual updates which enhance battle immersion while seasonal themes progress. We will release additional information when the patch becomes imminent.
