Leaks abound regarding the new changes coming to League of Legends in recent times. And, most surprisingly of all, it seems like they're true. Here's what we know about the upcoming jungler.
Screaming into existence with the birth of the universe, the Void is a manifestation of the unknowable nothingness that lies beyond. It is a force of insatiable hunger, waiting through the eons until its masters, the mysterious Watchers, mark the final time of undoing.
In the recently released Malzahar story, the protagonist is fed to an impossibly large void creature, and in the moments before his doom, he glimpses the fall of the Immortal Bastion, Noxus' capital, and Freljord engulfed in chaos as the ice ruptures, and grotesque creatures come pouring out.
The creature he is being fed to, we now know, is Rem'Ora, the new Void Jungler.
The Season 2022 Teaser video first mentions Rem'Ora, though we were unable to, at the time, make the connection between the champion and the name, as even Zeri and Renata Glasc were unknowns at the time. With the leak of the upcoming skins coming out listing a champion by the name Rem'Ora, the connection became obvious.
In the said video, developers also mention that the champion will be "swarming the RIft". And, while that may just be an expression, Renata Glasc's abilities heavily tie into the teaser given about her, as well as her lore, so it may just be that Rem'Ora will be controlling jungle camps she "feeds" on, or at the very least takes on their attributes.
