Nilah, much like Bel'VEth, has been surrounded by various teasers and leaks. Now, Riot are even teaing her lore, which may prove to be the most interesting so far.
The first teaser released consists of a pseudo-lore story, taking place in a yet-unspecified region of Runeterra, but one which has Noxian warbands drinking in their taverns, which, admittedly, does not narrow it down so much.
The story comes from the owner of a tavern called Oyster Bill's Oyster Shack, which may point to Bilgewater, who claims that a mysterious stranger, coming from a land far away, got into an altercation with a Noxian warband in his tavern, and trashed them completely, all the while the fight was shrouded in mist, with the stranger's boisterous laughter and splashes of water echoing from within.
The newest video shows that stranger to be Nilah, the new ADC. Her name stems from the Arabian word fro the blue hyacinth flower, while she uses an Urumi in battle, which is an Indian battle whip.

Her own origins are uncertain, but it seems she comes from the, yet unexplored, continent of Cavamor to the east. The very same one where Viego's kingdom used to be. and where some believe Yasuo came from.
She herself deems herself a monster slayer, one show sill clash and slay all the evil of myth. In the video we see her killing Pyke and Tahm kench, and face off with, what seems to be, Nagakabouros, the deity of Illaoi's tribe. We eagerly await what new developments she will bring to the lore of Runeterra with her release.
