Some three months back, the former host of League of Legends servers, Garena, had accidentally leaked the preseason 2023 changes, which included the ones for the jungle role. and now, Riot Games have implemented them, causing the fans to become quite unhappy.
The intentions stated in the leak were to lower the skill floor of the jungle role, while keeping the same skill ceiling.
This did not happen, as the skill ceiling lowered significantly, due to counter juggling, taking double camps, and denying the enemy jungler large monsters became impossible to do.
However, on Reddit, an industrious LoL player has found a way where he shows that it's still possible to, at least "one and a half camp" as they call it.
"New jungle pets don't trigger camp patience. There's a specific spot you can stand in while doing red and krugs that lets the krugs be hit by the pet while you do red. The damage that the pet deals also won't be healed until the camp is damaged by a player and reset. So while it isn't quite double camping it's like one and a half camping."
This is a strategy that can be employed by champions that can either target the Krugs over the wall, after the red buff is killed, or that can dash over it entirely.
The Redditor goes on to explain that this strategy is, currently, not possible to do with wolves and blue buff, as well as that different champions, will have varying degrees of success.
We just wonder how long it will take for RIot to hotfix this.
