Overall, 2023 has been a good year for skins in League of Legends. Not only have underrated champions received much-needed attention, but there have also been new skin lines introduced
In recent League of Legends patches, several underrated champions have received new skins. Despite not being as popular as some of the game's more mainstream champions, champions like Amumu, Ivern, Xerath, and Kha’Zix have all received new skins this year. This is great news for fans of these champions who have been eagerly waiting for new skin options to become available.
2023 has also seen the addition of new skins lines, such as the Mythmaker line, which gives players even more options when it comes to customizing their champions' appearances. In addition, the Astronaut skin line has also received new additions, which is great news for fans of the intergalactic-themed skins.
With these new additions, there are now more skin options available than ever before, making it easier for players to find a skin that suits their style and preferences.
Riot has recently shared a video previewing a new skin line, which appears to have a religious theme. The video suggests that this theme will be reflected in the design of the skins.
While details about the skin line are still scarce, the video has given players some insight into what they can expect. Nocturne, in particular, seems like a good fit for this theme, given his dark and ominous appearance.
Nocturne's new skin, Broken Covenant, will be an Epic skin and will be priced at 1350 RP. It will be released on Thursday, March 9, 2023, as part of Patch 13.5, along with the other skins in the new skin line.
This release date gives players just over two weeks to save up enough RP to purchase the new skin if they're interested. Given that the skin line has a religious theme, it will be interesting to see how Riot has incorporated this into Nocturne's design.
