Kratos is coming to FORTNITE

Looks like Kratos, the God of War himself, is bringing his rage and Blades of Olympus to Fortnite, ready to cause some serious mayhem in Chapter 2: Season 5, boy!

Fortnite's Season 5 already offers plenty to be excited about, but here's something ultra special for PlayStation fans to get hyped even more. Kratos is coming to Fortnite and it's already confirmed by Sony after they tweeted an audio log, in which we can hear a Fortnite character Jonesy describing a character who destroyed several gods with his bare hands in uncontrolled rage. Sounds like someone we know?

The leak came earlier today from a data-miner HYPEX, when he posted online a picture of Ghost of Sparta's Fortnite skin, which is obviously inspired by the God of War reboot from 2018.

It's worth noting that Sony has made a $250 million investment in Epic Games back in July, acquiring 1.4 percent interest in the game development studio and publisher, which will “broaden their collaboration across Sony’s leading portfolio of entertainment assets and technology, and Epic’s social entertainment platform and digital ecosystem to create unique experiences for consumers and creators,” according to a press release

Another record in Fortnite was broken , but many are not fans of the mega-popular Battle Royal hit. Whether you like this move by Sony or not, you have to admit that they are running an ingenious campaign, which will help them warm up the hype for the upcoming God of War sequel ‘Ragnarok’ even more.

God of War (2018) is one of the 'free' games from the PlayStation Plus Collection, which all PS subscribers can activate and download on their PS5 consoles. Kratos is convincingly one of the most popular characters from Sony’s 1st party games, and this move can only add to his popularity. Of course, Kratos' skin is expected to be exclusive to those playing Fortnite on PS4 and PS5.
