Keanu Reeves has offered his thoughts on mods that allowed players to 'have sex' with him in Cyberpunk 2077. "Oh my god, it's always nice when it's nice," Keanu jokingly said.
You may recall that soon after the release of Cyberpunk 2077, modders made a PC mod that basically allowed players to get very intimate with the game's main star, Keanu Reeves, by swapping the character textures onto other models.
The mod did not last long since CD Projekt Red shut it down, fearing that Keanu Reeves might find it offensive or harmful.
"Our most important rule regarding user-generated content, game mods in particular, is that it can’t be harmful towards others. In the case of model swaps, especially those that involve explicit situations, it can be perceived as such by the people who lent us their appearance for the purpose of creating characters in Cyberpunk 2077," CD Projekt Red said.
However, not only Keanu does not find such mods offensive, he actually thinks it's nice that people want to have sex with him in the game. When asked by The Verge about his thoughts on the fact that he is one of the most popular choices for a good old bit of rumpy-pumpy in the game, Keanu responded with an ecstatic "Yessss!" followed by "Oh my God, It's always nice, when it's nice!"
Check out the reactions of Keanu and also Carrie-Anne Moss in the video below (16:50 mark):
And while Keanu was happy to be so desirable, Carrie-Anne was, understandably, not having any of it. Keanu, however, then tried to explain how cybersex can bring in tons of money, all while adding the metaverse and other futuristic terms to the mix. "You don't even have to be there, people can have sex with your digital avatar."
Judging by the facepalming, you could say his co-star remained "meta averse" to the notion.
