After a sizzling February that saw Xbox Game Pass subscribers get Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Crackdown 3 and two Batman: Arkham games, the quality trend seems to continue with newly added Just Cause 4 and LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes.
Xbox Game Pass subscribers could also treat themselves to Crackdown 3 and a few others, but Lara and Bruce were probably the most notable highlights of the bunch.
As for March 2019, first up on the menu is Avalanche's fourth instalment in the franchise and continuation of the tale of Rico Rodriguez - Just Cause 4.
Built in the studio's in-house Apex engine, has good ol' Rico fighting the good fight once more. This time around, however, he'll be fighting against the elements as well, which Avalanche touted on more than one occasion.
If you've played the earlier instalments, you should know that Rico's grappling hook is even crazier, and there are some additional means to propel yourself around like a maniac, i.e. just like we've grown accustomed to in Just Cause games.
Traveller's Tales' LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes barely needs any introduction, as it's quite an old game. That said, if you've played any of TT's takes at cinematic IPs, you know what to expect - light-hearted fun and lightweight gaming.
If you're an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, you probably remember that Fallout 4 was removed from Microsoft's subscription service around the time Bethesda launched Fallout 76.
Well, now it's making a return but we're looking at 14 March 2019, so you'll have to wait another week. If you had a proper go at Fallout 76 by the way, you can remind yourself of just how many Fallout 4 assets were reused in the making of the new one.
Fallout 4 is set to land on 14 March, hand in hand with Codemasters' F1 2018, an excellent and highly acclaimed take on the world of Formula One racing.
Hopefully, the rest of Microsoft's lineup continues in this spirit, as they've started the year 2019 quite brightly.
