We're talking about the same AMA where Bethesda revealed that pets are coming to Fallout 76, but there's a lot more to unpack here for the game's fans.
As mentioned by Fallout 76's project lead Jeff Gardiner, "the Brotherhood is now watching the wasteland of West Virginia very closely", which is all but a confirmation of related DLC or smaller content. We're sure to learn more of it as it unfolds, but this seems to be the general direction so far.
When it comes to actually confirmed content, Fallout 76 is getting a new, friendly Mole Miner in the next bigger patch, and there's the Wendigo Colossus too, which is expected this summer.
Fallout 76 players who aren't fond of the current respec system can look forward to a fix in the following months. This should specifically please the players who don't have 300 hours to invest in the game monthly, but are looking to spice up their builds.
"Respecing has been talked about at length and we hope to tackle this in the coming months. We are adding in Legendary Perks this summer, which transfer across characters in order to encourage folks to try different builds", he wrote.
Bethesda didn't say when to expect Fallout 76 pets, but it's safe to assume they'll be added with the rest of the aforementioned features in the summer content drop. They also confirmed that NPCs will continue to be central to the future updates, just in case you're wondering whether they're planning a U-turn there.
