It looks like the time has come. After a long wait, From Software are seemingly ready to finally reveal their heavily anticipated RPG Elden Ring. The devs did not talk about the game for more than a year but it's now highly likely that the game will be shown at the upcoming Game Awards.
Several industry insiders who have proven to have legit information about yet unannounced stuff are now almost certain the game will be revealed at the show. Lance Mcdonald, the PS4 hacker and modder who currently works on Bloodborne 60 fps patch said in his latest stream that Elden Ring is almost finished and Fromsoftware is waiting to show it publicly.
Furthermore, Imran Khan, the man who previously said Elden Ring will not release in 2020, states that there are some pretty reasonable hints that the game will be shown soon. "There are some reasonable hints that an Elden Ring trailer is coming soon, I think," he tweeted. "I follow some Bandai Namco marketing people on Twitter who have been retweeting (and in some cases, unretweeting) some TGA stuff in weirdly coy ways."
Last but not least, many players think that FromSoftware are teasing Elden Ring reveal in Demon's Souls with a weird sound effect, which has been short initially but it gets much longer as we're getting closer to the Game Awards show. Check it out below:
Of course, Elden Ring reveal at the Game Awards makes a lot of sense since FromSoftware revealed their last big title - Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice - at the same show. However, everything is just speculation and rumour until we get more solid info regarding Elden Ring reveal.
