Elden Ring footage, which leaked yesterday is not from the official upcoming trailer. Apparently, it's from an internal, work in progress, trailer similar to Bloodborne Project Beast video.

After a long wait, we finally got to see some gameplay of FromSoftware's upcoming action RPG Elden Ring, thanks to a leaked trailer. As expected, Elden Ring community is absolutely ecstatic to see the game in action, despite the low-quality video.

Since the trailer leaked online, we got some additional information about it, courtesy of reliable FromSoftware insider Omni and GameBeat's Jeff Grubb , who state that this footage is pretty old. Apparently, it is an old, work in progress trailer for internal use.

"This leak is of an old WIP trailer meant for internal use only, much like the original Project Beast leak. I'd known that it had been circulating in "insider back channels" for at least over a week now, maybe even a bit longer. If, or more reasonably when the full thing leaks out I would recommend that you guys remember that some things will have changed since then," insider Omni wrote on ResetEra.

You may recall that Bloodborne's Project Beast video also leaked in a similar manner before Sony officially showcased the game on their E3 show. Wether will see the official trailer soon, it remains to be seen, but one thing is certain, the long wait for Elden Ring content is finally over and the fans of the game should look forward to more stuff coming in 2021.
