Players have been asking for a feature to get rid of stacks in Destiny 2's Iron Banner and now Bungie announced they are finally going to add it along with adept weapons for Trials of Osiris.
Destiny 2 is due for major improvements when it comes to PvP when Season 12 hits. For reference, the season will start when Beyond Light launches, on November 10, 2020.
When it comes around, the PvP improvements will happen all over the place but two stand out from the rest - Iron Banner Freelance and Trials of Osiris Adept weapons.
In the case of Iron Banner, this has been a feature that many were requesting for months now. Whenever a new Iron Banner rolls out, casual players either step aside for a few days or get rolled by premade teams.
These premade teams, or stacks as they are known in Destiny 2 community, will no longer be a problem for solo players since they will be able to choose Iron Banner Freelance where everyone will be a solo player, not unlike Survival Freelance that already exists.
As for Trials, Adept weapons have also been a highly requested feature. When these weapons come around, the most hardcore of players will have more incentive to go flawless on their ticket since these desirable items will be available in the Lighthouse.
Besides those improvements, the persistent and rotating playlists fir Season 12 are now revealed:
- Featured modes:
- Survival and Survival Freelance
- Weekly Rotation:
- Weekend mode:
- Trials of Osiris
- Monthly availability:
- Iron Banner and Iron Banner Freelance
