Ubisoft officially announced Ghost Recon: Breakpoint and also revealed how to play the game three days earlier and get access to the closed beta. The beta dates are yet to be announced but it's expected that Ubisoft host one in September.
Last night, Ubisoft officially announced the next game in their tactical shooter franchise Ghost Recon. Named Breakpoint, the game is a sequel to Wildlands and once again, it follows Nomad and his new crew on a huge island, where you'll be contending with rogue soldier Cole D. Walker, played by The Punisher's Jon Bernthal.
Just like the majority of multiplayer games from Ubisoft, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint will also have closed beta test before its release and the publisher shared some details about this and three-day early access for the full game.
In order to get the access to Ghost Recon: Breakpoint closed beta, you'll have to pre-order one of the four versions of the game - Standard, Gold, Ultimate, or Wolves Collector Edition. Ubisoft did not confirm when will the closed beta start, only that in order to play it, you have to trust them with your wallet and get the game before you even know if it's good or not.
Like always, we strongly advise against pre-orders of any kind, but it is your money and if you're eager to play Ghost Recon: Breakpoint a bit earlier, pre-order is the only way to do it, at the moment.
It's possible that Ubisoft open registration for the closed beta at a later date so those who did not pre-ordered can also try the game but this is not officially confirmed at the moment.
To access the full game three days before its official release date, once again you'll have to pre-order it, but this time, the Standard version won't cut it. You'll have to spend a bit more to get Gold, Ultimate, or Wolves Collector Edition if you want to play Ghost Recon: Breakpoint on 01 October 2019.
Ghost Recon: Breakpoint will officially release on 04 October 2019 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
