Ubisoft' community manager has confirmed that Ghost Recon: Breakpoint will be getting a lot of fan-requested features in the Year 2 updates, which are scheduled for 2021.
Ghost Recon: Breakpoint did not launch to critical acclaim as Ubisoft may have hoped but since the official release, the development team behind the game have been working constantly to bring many improvements and missing features to try and make the game as best as it can be for the fans of the franchise.
And while some updates certainly improved some aspects of Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, it seems that the game is still not quite there in terms of quality content and features but luckily, there's still hope.
Yesterday, Ubisoft announced the Tomb Raider crossover event for Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, which didn't go well with the fans who expected much more. Ubisoft's Community Manager tried to calm down the players by confirming that the team still have a lot of surprises and content for Breakpoint in 2021.
"We have much more content planned, we are just waiting for the go to share this with you, there will be more, it's coming soon," Ubisoft's Community Manager wrote on the official forum. "As for Year 2, it will include things which have been requested since the release but obviously I can't go into this as much as I would like too."
So there you have it, folks. There's plenty of content still coming to Breakpoint but we will have to stay patient for a little more until Ubisoft officially unveil their plan for Year 2 content.
