Hell is Us officially announced for Nintendo Switch 2 with September 24 release date

Hell is Us has officially been announced for Nintendo Switch 2 and will launch on September 24 with its exploration-focused Soulslike gameplay.

Hell is Us has been officially announced for Nintendo Switch 2. The action adventure game will launch on Nintendo’s next-generation console on September 24, as confirmed during the latest Nacon Connect stream.

Originally released on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC last year, Hell is Us focuses on exploration while throwing players into its ruined world with few explanations. It was praised at launch for taking players off the beaten path and embracing mystery unlike most open-world games today.

The latest trailer offers Nintendo fans another glimpse at the game’s grim setting, emotion-based combat skills, and Soulslike-inspired mystery. Hell is Us details players taking on the role of Remi, a Peacekeeper returning to his home region of Hadea to search for his missing parents.

However, the region has been locked in a violent civil war which awakens deadly demons called Hollow Walkers.Players won’t be assisted by a huge map or objective markers pointing them in the right direction every step of the way.

Instead, you’ll need to read notes, decipher clues, and hunt for secrets around each area to piece everything together. Combat is just as crucial, as players learn how to utilize different emotions to unlock devastating skills and movesets when fighting.

Each emotion allows you to inflict unique damage against the monsters lurking around every corner. Expect the Nintendo Switch 2 version to offer players the same complete experience as other platforms when it launches later this month.
