Halo Wars 2 will get a boxed version for PC in two flavours, ultimate and ye olde regular. The £65 ultimate edition will contain the usual season pass shenanigans, a copy of Halo Wars: Definitive Edition and buyers of this version will have access to the game 4 days early. The regular £50 edition will be just that, regular.
Both versions of the game will support Microsoft's Play Anywhere, meaning that they can be cross-downloaded and played on the Xbox One as well, with cloud-saving features and other functionality, that becomes available after the game is registered/unlocked online.
Halo Wars 2 will be playable on 17 or 21 February 2017, depending on which version you got.
