The wait for concrete Grand Theft Auto 6 news is over, at least on the pre-order front. Rockstar Games has confirmed that pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI open at midnight local time on 25 June, putting an end to weeks of retailer leaks and guesswork. The game remains locked to 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
The Ultimate Edition
Topping the range is the Ultimate Edition, which Rockstar describes as a collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel and extra content. The interesting wrinkle is how it's structured: rather than dumping everything on you at once, the Ultimate Edition bonuses are threaded across Jason and Lucia's story, with new items unlocked behind each chapter. That's a slightly more considered approach than the usual day-one cosmetic dump.
The bonuses run from the '95 Grotti Cheetah, a mid-90s sports car with a retro-futuristic livery, to the Hawk & Little Morgan Revolvers, his-and-hers weapons with Vice City stylings pulled from the Vercetti Estate. There are also exclusive outfits and hairstyles, including Jason's pastel linen suit and Lucia's red sequin mini dress.
