Sony has announced two new Grand Theft Auto VI themed DualSense wireless controller variants. Inspired by Vice City, Sony’s new GTA 6 PlayStation 5 controllers feature neon designs launching later this year.
Showing off the designs during today’s State of Play, Sony has shared two GTA VI controller colours that players can choose from. Based on either side of Vice City, you can pick up either a black or white themed controller.
Detailed with a colour-shifting glossy finish that will capture the in-game GTA VI sunsets and neon lights, each controller also has palm trees moulded into the grips. Both of these limited-edition controllers also include official GTA VI badges on each side.
The white PlayStation 5 controller is based around Vice City’s daytime atmosphere. From bright beaches to calming pastel skies in the distance, the white design feels open and inviting. Available in limited quantities, you can purchase the GTA 6 White Limited Edition Controller via PlayStation Direct and select retailers.
Opting for darker tones instead, the black GTA controller showcases the City life by night. Illuminated by streetlights and glowing neon signs, GTA 6 Black Limited Edition controller will launch exclusively on PlayStation Direct, and select retailers globally.
Players will be able to enjoy all of these new features in-game as well, as GTA 6 supports both DualSense’s adaptive triggers and haptic feedback. Using these features, players will feel every action that occurs while playing as Jason and Lucia.
Pre-Ordering Details
Both controllers will be available to pre-order starting September 10 at 10:00 a.m. local time. The GTA 6 PlayStation 5 controllers will launch on November 19 for $84.99 USD, €84.99 or £74.99. In Japan, the controllers will launch for ¥12,480 including tax. November 19 is also the official release date for GTA 6.
