Ubisoft have officially announced open beta test for their upcoming tactical shooter Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. The open beta will run from Thursday, 26 September to Sunday, 29 September 2019.
Earlier this week, we got a leak suggesting that Ubisoft are set to host another beta test for their upcoming tactical shooter Ghost Recon: Breakpoint only this time, it would be available to everyone who wants to try it out before the release.
The leak was legit and today, Ubisoft have officially announced the open beta test for Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. The open beta will run from Thursday, 26 September to Sunday 29 September 2019. Ubisoft say that thanks to everyone's feedback from the closed beta test, the developers were able to apply many changes and improvements to the game, all of which will be included in the open beta.
Ubisoft also say that a detailed blog post with all the bug fixes, changes and improvements will be shared tomorrow - 19 September 2019.
The open beta will also come with new features including the Ghost War PvP mode, which was one of the most requested features from players in the closed beta. Ghost War will offer four maps: Skell Port, PMC Camp, Cold War Bunker and Deserted Harbour and one mode named Elimination.
On top of this, players will get access to two new regions - New Argyll and Infinity - along with the regions from the closed beta. This means that there will be a total of six regions which is still a very small portion of Ghost Recon: Breakpoint's map. Furthermore, the open beta will bring five three new main storyline missions along with the missions from the open beta.
If you're looking to gear up your character and hop into the full version with style, you'll be disappointed as your progress will not transfer from the open beta to the launch version of the game.
Pre-load will also be available and you can find all the start dates for each region in the image below.
Ghost Recon: Breakpoint is officially hitting the shelves on 04 October 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
