It looks like Ubisoft are planning to host another beta test for their upcoming tactical shooter Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. The client for the beta has been found on Uplay while the date has been spotted on the official website.
Earlier this month, Ubisoft hosted a closed beta test for their upcoming tactical shooter Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. The beta was available to those who pre-order the game and a small number of players who registered on Ubisoft's website while mere mortals didn't get to try it out.
However, by the looks of it, Ubisoft will host another test and this time it will be open to everyone. In a post on Reddit, a user named some_sloth_down_town shared a screenshot of his Uplay, which shows an open beta subtitle right below the Ghost Recon: Breakpoint logo.
Furthermore, a user named Agnustemagi claims that he spotted the start date on the game's official website. Apparently, the open beta for Ghost Recon: Breakpoint is set to start on 27 September and it will run for three days before it ends on 30 September 2019.
Ubisoft are yet to officially announce the open beta test, but if the leak is indeed true, it should be long before the publisher confirm the date. Many would say that having an open beta so close to the release date is unrealistic expectation but this is nothing new for Ubisoft who hosted a lot of beta tests right before the release.
As for the content that will be available in the open beta, it's safe to assume that players will have access to the same regions and missions just like in the closed beta, and possibly a little bit extra. Many players wanted a taste of the Ghost War PvP mode and hopefully, Ubisoft will grant them that wish.
Additionally, it would be nice to have a solid gameplay experience this time around since the closed beta was jam-packed with bugs and glitches. Fingers crossed that the devs managed to fix them all.
Ghost Recon: Breakpoint is out on 04 October 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
