The new feature will aim to support all games, not just Windows Store ones
The recently confirmed Windows 10 Game Mode will be made available for testing purposes to Windows Insiders this week.
Game Mode will aim to increase overall/peak framerates and average/consistent framerates, with the new feature set to improve performance on all games and not just ones released through the Windows Store.
Sounds great, in theory. Windows Insiders will report on the actual performance shortly after the initial test, and the rest of us will find out whether the new feature can keep its promises soon enough.
