From Software have acknowledged that Elden Ring still exists and thanked the community for showing support and enthusiasm for the game. They hope players are looking forward to their next major dark fantasy RPG.
It's been over a year since we last heard about Elden Ring, FromSoftware's next big action RPG. Over the course of the year, we got nothing but rumours and fake leaks and while the Elden Ring community has been craving to find out more about the game, the developer remained silent.
Today, FromSoftware have shared a first Elden Ring update in a long, long time. Over on Twitter, they thanked the fans for supporting the game and showing such enthusiasm (hats off fake lore people). However, they did not give a slightest of hints about a potential gameplay reveal or release date. Here's their tweet in full :
"We also greatly appreciate all the enthusiasm and support shown for ELDEN RING, our next Dark Fantasy Action RPG. We hope you look forward to it."
Elden Ring is confirmed to be in development for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. However, the game will probably be a cross-gen title so you can expect it on Xbox Series X and PS5, too.
