Well-known FromSoftware insider Omni is back with some vague but interesting info about the upcoming RPG Elden Ring. According to Omni, the reveal date is yet to be firmly set but the developer have a "number of things planned" for the showcase.
Rumours about the potential new trailer for Elden Ring surfaced a couple of days ago, suggesting that the game could be revealed at the upcoming Microsoft gaming show on March 23, 2021. Shortly after the rumour spread all over the social media and gaming forums, Xbox's Aaron Greenberg shut it down, stating that the show is not happening.
"There are always things we have in the works, but nothing coming soon that would feature game announcements or world premieres like this," he said.
And while we wait for the official confirmation regarding the date for a new trailer for Elden Ring, a well-known FromSoftware insider Omnipotent has returned to ResetEra, offering some vague but interesting info about the upcoming reveal.
Omni wrote that FromSoftware and the publisher Bandai Namco have a number of things planned for Elden Ring, which is certainly something that many fans have been waiting to hear for a long time. Here's the interesting bit from Omni's post:
"I know they've got a number of things planned for the reveal of the game. They're bringing a few things to the table when the time comes (As in more than just a trailer). But beyond that just, sit tight and we'll see what happens."
As always with insider info, leaks and other unconfirmed reports, take this with a grain of salt. That being said, it really looks like we are really close to a brand new trailer since several reliable sources are pretty confident about this.
Elden Ring is currently in development for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game should be playable via backwards compatibility on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
