The Fortnite community was thrown into a frenzy recently over a new leak showing potentially two of the most popular sitcom characters ever to join the island. Rumours of Fortnite collaborating with The Office have been around for some time but the latest leak seems to suggest it could actually happen.
Michael Scott and Dwight Schrute. Anyone who hasn’t heard of these characters definitely lived under a rock their whole life. Both characters are front and center in some of the most popular episodes of the show and fans are hoping Epic Games can capture their essence in the battle royale.
Epic has been dropping collaborations left and right recently and it doesn’t look to be slowing down any time soon. Leaks have revealed players could see games, music, and TV collaborations in the near future with The Office looking to be one of them.
Michael Scott and Dwight Schrute Skins Reportedly Coming to Fortnite
Fortnite insider HYPEX has leaked information about a highly-anticipated upcoming crossover collaboration. Starring as the lead skins for the crossover are Michael Scott and Dwight Schrute.
Played by Steve Carell, Michael Scott is the dim-witted but lovable regional manager of Dunder Mifflin Scranton branch. Dwight Schrute, portrayed by Rainn Wilson, is known for his fierce dedication, weird antics, and delusional sense of superiority as Assistant (to) Regional Manager.
Cosmetics, Emotes and Edit Styles
The leak shows that there will be a variety of edit styles for each character too. Edit styles let players change how each skin looks when they’re played. There will also be several emotes to go alongside the skins.
These are expected to be themed around popular clips from the show.Other cosmetics are said to be included in this skin bundle too. Some “gems” include tissue box kicks. Epic Games hasn’t confirmed all the items in this skin bundle, but it sounds like it could be pretty large.
