Fortnite’s Crew subscription service is getting changes later this summer with its rewards refresh date scheduled for June 6, 2026.
This change follows Epic Games’ announcement of reduced V-Bucks value across the game, as well as changes to Battle Pass prices.
Crew subscriptions will maintain the same benefits that are currently available, though one of the service’s biggest draws is being lowered.
V-Bucks Reward Reduction
Players who subscribe to Fortnite Crew starting June 6 will now earn 800 V-Bucks each month as part of the subscription, less than the standard 1,000 V-Bucks that players are granted each month at the time of writing. If your Crew subscription renews after June 6, you’ll start to receive 800 V-Bucks per month.
If your subscription renews before June 6, you will continue to receive 1,000 V-Bucks per month.
Fortnite Crew remains a bundle style subscription service that offers passes and cosmetic items spanning across Fortnite and outside media. In addition to receiving a monthly Crew Pack worth of cosmetics and the Battle Pass, subscribers will still receive:
- OG Pass
- LEGO Pass
- Music Pass
- Rocket League’s Rocket Pass Premium
These offers help to make up for the lost value on V-Bucks when considering how frequently players will access Fortnite, its modes, and Rocket League.
Changes Are Part of Fortnite’s Pricing Overhaul
Fortnite Crew’s value is being adjusted alongside changes to Fortnite’s V-Bucks and Battle Pass pricing. As part of an overall pricing overhaul, Epic confirmed last month that V-Bucks are decreasing in value, effectively giving players less V-Bucks for the same price.
The Battle Pass also saw a price decrease during this re-balancing. The upcoming changes to Fortnite Crew don’t drastically change the value that subscribers receive from the service.
Players that consistently play Fortnite may find more value in passes and the monthly cosmetics, even with a reduction to the monthly V-Bucks reward.
