Fortnite now has Kingdom Hearts content available on the map. Fans will be happy to know that there are multiple characters from Square Enix that you can play as. Along with the new cosmetics they have also added gameplay elements that you can play with in game.
Not only will you be able to get your hands on Kingdom Hearts items but they've also added new gameplay mechanics. Sea Salt Ice Cream can heal your Health and Shields. There are also 2 new Kingdom Hearts Overrides that you can use during matches.
This Weekend Fortnite will be hosting a Power Hours Event where you can start with some of these items at the beginning of your match.
Kingdom Hearts Weapons and Overrides
One new Weapon will be added to the game. You'll be able to swing it around in close quarters and fire off lightning bolts at enemies.
There will also be an item you can pickup called Sea Salt Ice Cream that will refill your Health and Shield.nThere are two KINGDOM HEARTS Overrides you can find under the moon.
When defeating any player you will gain healing orbs no matter what weapon you used. This Override will be for Squads and can occur throughout the entire match. This Override will give you and your squad members a Mythic Kingdom Key where you are standing.
Fortnite now has 4 new characters from Kingdom Hearts in the shop! Sora, Riku, Kairi and Roxas are now in the Fortnite shop. Along with each of their outfits there is a matching Back Bling and Pickaxe. All 4 characters also have a Lego Fortnite Style.
Kingdom Hearts Power Hours
There will also be KINGDOM HEARTS Power Hours this Saturday September 19th. When these power hours are active everyone will spawn with a Kingdom Key and Sea Salt Ice Cream.
They will run from 2-4PM ET and 9-11PM ET so you'll have a chance to try out these new additions to Fortnite.
