Ubisoft's latest announcement may not be considered great news by For Honor players, as it's another case of the global pandemic taking its toll. Unfortunately, Year 4 Season 2 is delayed until 11 June 2020.
The dev posted the news on Twitter, announcing the delay and explaining the reasons behind the move, which are definitely understandable considering the ongoing health situation. For Honor's team is thankfully healthy, which should certainly be the first order of business.
"We are proud of how quickly everyone on the For Honor development team has adapted to the situation. However, even with all our efforts during these times, the disruption over the past weeks is having an impact on our ability to deliver our near term content updates. For this reason, we have taken the decision to delay the release of Year 4 Season 2 to June 11, 2020", they wrote.
Ubisoft apologised, although it's questionable whether anyone should be apologising at this time, insisting they are still excited to show players what they have in store for the following seasons. In order to do so in a proper manner, though, this was the best possible decision.
"On a positive note, the team is currently working on a plan to be able to bring back fan-favorite activities to compensate for this delay. Those activities will be available in May and we will soon share more details within our May roadmap", the continued.
So there you have it, For Honor fans may have to wait until June 2020 to get the Year 4 Season 2 content, but Ubisoft will make sure that their May is anything but boring. We'll be keeping an eye out for the May roadmap, so as to let you know which activities they mean exactly as soon as possible.
