Bandai Namco's upcoming Fast & Furious Crossroads just got a gameplay trailer showcasing its single-player story mode. The trailer was met with unkind comments and dislikes on YouTube.
Bandai Namco teamed up with Universal Games and Digital Platforms, and Slightly Mad Studios to bring forward the first gameplay trailer for their upcoming Fast & Furious Crossroads title.
The trailer showcased the single-player story mode of the team-based, vehicular-heist action game set in the Fast & Furious universe.
However, the trailer did not go over as planned as it currently boasts a bunch of dislikes and a slew of less-than-kind comments on YouTube.
Those who commented on the video noted that the game looks "like a bad copy of gas guzzlers extreme", a "PS2 game" and "bad, even for a mobile game".
The Fast & Furious Crossroads' story mode was designed to expand the Fast & Furious universe - with Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez and Tyrese Gibson reprising their roles as Dom, Letty, and Roman. Even these big names didn't add much to the trailer viewing experience as the voice acting is pretty, well, weak.
Fast & Furious Crossroads promises to put its players in the driver's seat of the famous franchise and give them access to gadgets, death-defying heists and iconic vehicles.
The game also pledges an exciting story-driven experience and an unprecedented three-way multiplayer mode. More information on the latter will be shared in the coming weeks.
Fast & Furious Crossroads will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on August 7, 2020.
