Bandai Namco recently announced that their latest addition to the "Tales of" franchise, Tales of Arise, exceeded 1 million units shipped worldwide. Tales of Arise was officially released on Thursday, September 9, 2021. This has brought the cumulative worldwide shipment of the "Tales of" series over 25 million units.
With one million units shipped in one week's time, Tales of Arise has become the fastest-selling game in the 25-year-old franchise.
Players all over the world were given a glimpse into the "Tales of" IP, its evolved visuals and gameplay when Bandai Namco released a demo for Tales of Arise in the weeks leading up to the game's release on September 9, 2021. This decision has, undoubtedly, contributed to the overall success of the latest title.
"Tales of" series, has now shifted over 25 million units worldwide. It is kind of poetic that the franchise elaborated its 25th anniversary in 2020, with the first game "Tales of Phantasia" blazing the trail in 1995.
Tales of Arise is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
