More than 2 million players have explored the Bloodsprings since Code Vein launched back in 2019. The RPG is now celebrating its second anniversary.

Bandai Namco's action RPG Code Vein is celebrating its second anniversary today, September 27, 2021. In celebration of the milestone,  the game's official Twitter account shared the happy news that Code Vein's sales have exceeded 2 million units, worldwide.

Contents of the tweet, courtesy of Google translate:

"[Celebration #CODEVEIN 2nd anniversary & over 2 million! ] Thanks to everyone, we are celebrating the 2nd anniversary of the release. In addition, the cumulative worldwide shipment and DL sales have exceeded 2 million units! Thank you for your continued support."

Code Vein received its first major paid DLC expansion pack in January 2020. Titled Hellfire Knight, the first DLC pack was followed by the Frozen Empress pack in February 2020. The third and final DLC shipment, Lord of Thunder, arrived in March the same year.

Code Vein has seen a slight uptick in its player count during the last 30 days , so here's hoping that these tweets entice some players to once again try to save the world from Great Collapse's creations. An official sequel announcement wouldn't hurt either, especially after the warm reception Bandai Namco's Tales of Arise got following its recent launch.
