Bethesda seem to be in the final polishing phase of the highly anticipated Fallout 76 update Wastelanders, and it seems that the recent beta testing filled them with more optimism as they just announced a trailer for next week.

The dev did regularly tease Wastelanders content, with the and being the most recent ones, but they think it's time for more. And who are we to argue.

"We would like to give you another peek at what’s to come in Wastelanders beyond a few new screenshots and words on a page. We've put together a new official trailer that we're excited to unveil next Tuesday, February 4", they wrote.

After previewing Settlers and Raiders last week, Bethesda decided to shed some light on the reputation system that'll govern your relations to the factions. As you'd expect, getting on their good side will come with added perks and other rewards.

In order to endear themselves to factions, Fallout 76 players will be sharing information, taking down enemies and completing quests, improving their standing from Hostile or Cautious, through Neutral, Friendly, and finally Ally. Note that the bigger the task, the more reputation you get.

"As your reputation ranks with the Raiders and Settlers increase, people at Crater and Foundation will treat you with more warmth during your interactions, and that faction’s vendors will sell you a wider range of goods. By completing story content, you will also gain access to new vendors that sell plans for a few new faction-themed items which will unlock at certain ranks, like neighborly, friendly, or ally", they wrote.

Bethesda promised that Wastelanders is their biggest update yet and their decision to delay it hasn't caused much ruckus, as there was plenty of community feedback to sift through and choose from. So far, it looks like Fallout 76 is heading for much better times, but first things first - onto the trailer then!
