Fallout 76 is holding a Free Week for players on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The event grants the new Vault dwellers a chance to traverse the full Fallout 76: Wastelanders experience.
Country roads to Fallout 76's version of West Virginia are now toll-free for a week. A taste of Appalachia is going to be free to players on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 until 18 May.
Those who choose to take advantage of Fallout 76's Free Week will be able to enjoy the full Fallout 76: Wastelanders experience. The caveat is that, to take part in the free week, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will have to have a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Gold/Ultimate membership.
The Fallout 76 Free Week will end on 18 May but your adventures can continue if you decide to purchase the game's Standard Edition that will enjoy a special discount. The discount will be available during and a bit after the Free Week on Bethesda.net, Steam, Xbox Store and PlayStation Store.
All progress made during the Free Week will automatically carry over to the purchased version of the game.
Fallout 76's 2020 roadmap has recently been revealed. A complete overhaul in the form of Seasons is coming to the current Challenge and reward system. New features, like Ally Dress Up, C.A.M.P. Shelters, and Legendary Perks will also be available to the players.
Bethesda's plan going forward is to have four Seasons each year, with each season lasting for 10 weeks, with a few weeks in between.
Every Season will bring its own themed rewards. Bethesda also have new events prepared and they listed "Hunt for the Treasure Hunter and A Colossal Problem", but they'll also return to community favourites like "Fasnacht Parade" and "Meat Week.'"
