With the launch of Diablo 4 just around the corner, Blizzard have been sharing a lot of interesting new details about the game in their developer live streams.
The latest live stream was aired last night and included the first details on Diablo 4's post-launch content support. Given that this upcoming action RPG is a live-service title, players will get plenty of activities and challenges to complete once they are done with the main campaign.
Below, you'll find everything that Blizzard talked about in their post-launch content development stream, including the first details on Season One release date, battle pass and Seasonal challenges.
Here are the details about Diablo 4's post-launch content that Blizzard shared in their latest developer update video.
Diablo 4 Season One Release date
Diablo 4's Season One will officially begin sometime in mid to late July 2023, which is just over a month after the launch of the game. Seasons are quarterly releases, meaning that each one will run for three months, introducing new gameplay features, questlines, items, bug fixes and improvements and more.
Blizzard confirmed that in order to start playing Season One content, you will need to finish the main Campaign.
Diablo 4 Battle Pass price, tiers and more
In a traditional live service game fashion, each Season in Diablo 4 will introduce a new Battle Pass which will contain 27 free tiers and 63 premium tiers. Obviously, you will be able to earn those 27 items without spending a dime.

However, for shinier stuff, you'll need to spend $9.99 for Premium Battle Pass, which includes cosmetics and Platinum currency that can be spent on cosmetics in the shop or future Battle Passes.
You can also buy the Accelerated Battle Pass that comes with all perks of the Premium Battle Pass, 20 tier skips and a special cosmetic for $24.99.
Diablo 4 Seasonal objectives explained
To progress faster through each season, you will have to complete Seasonal Objectives, which have seven chapters. Each chapter will include a set of objectives so for example, in the first Chapter, you'll need to complete dungeons, collect Gallowvine or participate in local events. As you progress through Chapters, objectives will become increasingly more difficult.
Blizzard will reveal more details about Diablo 4's Season One as we get closer to launch.
Diablo 4 is officially hitting the shelves on June 6, 2023, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
