Focus Home Interactive have unveiled their E3 2018 lineup today and it includes some highly anticipated titles such as Insurgency: Sandstorm and and Vampyr. Their stations will be found at West-Hall number 4512 from 12 to 14 June 2018.
Insurgency: Sandstorm is the sequel to the original Insurgency and it has caused quite the stir with screenshots and the gameplay trailer shown above. Many agree that the game looks fantastic on the shown material but there is also a concern among gamers that New World Interactive might pull a Ubisoft on them and downgrade the graphics or downsize the game's features. Or maybe both. Either way, we will have our answer when the footage from the E3 demo comes in.
Farming Simulator 19 is the newest entry in the series and it will be shown for the first time during the event. GIANTS Software have also mentioned that there will be "an exciting surprise" that will be announced during E3.
The Surge 2 is an interesting title coming from Deck13, but there will be no demo present at E3. This Souls-like futuristic action RPG still remains a bit of a mystery to potential players, but there will be a 30 minute long gameplay presentation.
A Plague Tale: Innocence is a gritty tale of two young siblings on the run from the Inquisition and, uh, rats. As the name suggests, the rodents will be plague carriers and the two children will need to find their way out of this nightmarish "between a rock and a hard place" kind of situation. Asobo Studio will present a new gameplay walkthrough of the game at E3.
Developer studio Cyanide will be presenting their horror survival Call of Cthulhu. The "survival" part does not refer to mass deforestation and other material grinding, but the "I can beat these monsters, I need to run" type. Think Amnesia or Outlast.
Dontnod
is an upcoming RPG from Spiders studio that will put players into a fantasy world where their success will depend on both their weaponry and diplomacy skills.
Players will be able to play Space Hulk: Tactics on the playable stations for the first time. These sessions will apparently be "face-to-face" with Cyanide developers in the Public Area. There will also be hands-off sessions of Necromunda: Underhive Wars in the same place.
Vostok Games, the developers of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.-esque battle royale will attend the event in order to answer fans' questions during exclusive interviews.
People anxious for some Vampyr action have their opportunity at Focus Home Interactive's playable stations, along with The Surge - Complete Edition and Spintires: Mudrunner.
