Fear the Wolves release date announced

Vostok Games' battle royale, Fear the Wolves is getting an official release on 06 February 2019. The developers, along with the publisher, Focus Home Interactive, announced the first week will be free and will feature a 50% off sale.

Fear the Wolves is now on Steam Early Access

Focus Home Interactive and Vostok Games have officially launched Fear the Wolves on Steam Early Access on 28 August 2018, at 15:00 CEST / 06:00 AM PDT. The game is in a rough state and early reviews on Steam haven't been kind either.

Fear the Wolves coming to Steam Early Access

Focus Home Interactive and Vostok Games have announced that Fear the Wolves is coming to Steam Early Access on 28 August 2018. This comes 10 days after the originally planned release date, following a delay due to performance issues.

AUGUST 20

Fear the Wolves Early Access date postponed

Vostok Games and Focus Home Interactive have decided to postpone the release of Fear the Wolves due to technical issues. For once, the "technical issues" bit was not just a publisher excuse, but legitimate issues that need resolving.

JULY 19

Fear the Wolves system requirements

Fear the Wolves' Steam page is now up and with it came the system requirement for the upcoming S.T.A.L.K.E.R.-esque battle royale game by Vostok Games. These requirements don't seem to be too high, which hints at good optimisation.

Fear the Wolves E3 trailer is out now

Focus Home Interactive and Vostok Games have released the first trailer for Fear the Wolves, but unfortunately it consists entirely of pre-rendered footage. It does tangentially show what we could expect from Fear the Wolves though.

JUNE 7

First Fear the Wolves in-game screenshots

Vostok Games are gearing up for Fear the Wolves' early access stage and to that end, they have released five screenshots of apparent in-game footage. These showcase characters, weapons, supply drops and some of Chernobyl's mutated animals.

MAY 31

E3 2018 lineup for Focus Home Interactive

Focus Home Interactive have unveiled their E3 2018 lineup today and it includes some highly anticipated titles such as Insurgency: Sandstorm and and Vampyr. Their stations will be found at West-Hall number 4512 from 12 to 14 June 2018.

Battle royale by ex-STALKER devs announced

Vostok games, the studio comprised of former STALKER developers is working on a battle royale game dubbed Fear the Wolves. It is due for release later this year, although no concrete date was specified.
